ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive dealership parts truck to deliver parts to dealer customers and pick up / drop off other articles as directed by the Parts Manager;

• Ensure the parts delivery vehicle is presentable to the public (external/internal), and its contents are secure when unattended (vehicle locked and parked on the lot at the end of the work shift);

• Observe mileage and ensure proper maintenance is done. Perform fluids check and daily circle check of the van to ensure its serviceability;

• When necessary, specify parts requirements of customers and technicians in a professional manner;

• Maintain parts inventory in an orderly fashion in order to find the correct part when needed and to avoid damage/loss;

• Welcome and serve retail/wholesale parts customers in person and on the telephone;

• Support dealer operations and profit by effectively promoting the sale of parts and accessories.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Excellent customer service skills

• A valid G driver’s licence

• A clean driver’s abstract

• Previous automotive service experience is an asset
